Neregando Fanno

An easy reef dive on Fuvahmulah, a solitary oceanic island in the far south of the Maldives (Gnaviyani Atoll). It's a relaxed, Open Water–friendly dive along the reef, with the top at 5–7 m stepping down through 18–30 m before sloping into the blue. As everywhere at Fuvahmulah the deep ocean is close at hand, so pelagic threshers cruise the drop-off and oceanic mantas pass through in season, while giant trevallies, barracudas, groupers and snappers hold along the reef.
