Thompson's surgeonfish

A thompson's surgeonfish (Acanthurus thompsoni), known locally as Nigoo hudhu kaalhu, is a member of the family Acanthuridae (order Perciformes). It grows to a maximum of 27 cm. It is found across the Indo-Pacific.
