An ambon sharpnosed puffer (Canthigaster amboinensis), known locally as Haluvi thaakihaa koli, is a member of the family Tetraodontidae (order Tetraodontiformes). It reaches common to 8 cm; max. 15 cm. It is found across the Indo-Pacific.
