South Ari Dive Center

As the first PADI 5-Star Dive Center in South Ari Atoll, South Ari Dive Center is based on the local island of Dhangethi, placing divers right at the doorstep of the Maldives' most celebrated marine encounters. Backed by a seasoned team bringing over 17 years of professional diving experience, the center combines high-standard safety and genuine island hospitality with immediate access to premier dive sites located just 5 to 45 minutes from the harbor.

The waters of South Ari Atoll are internationally famous for hosting year-round populations of whale sharks and manta rays that feed along the nutrient-dense outer reef. Underwater, the topography is defined by submerged pinnacles (thilas) and deep ocean channels (kandus) rather than sheltered lagoons. While these exposed passages frequently bring dynamic currents, they deliver world-class drift diving packed with pelagic activity, large schools of reef fish, and thriving corals under the watchful guidance of veteran local experts.
