About Aquaventure Dive Center
Established in 2013 as the first local dive center in Addu Atoll, Aquaventure Dive Center brings unparalleled regional expertise to the Maldives’ Deep South. Backed by an international team of veteran instructors and divemasters with thousands of logged dives across the southern atoll, the center pairs professional safety standards with an intimate, firsthand mastery of the region's unique channels, topography, and seasonal currents.
Positioned in the southernmost tip of the archipelago, Addu offers dramatic underwater encounters that stand apart from anywhere else in the country. Divers can access year-round cleaning stations for giant manta rays at Addu Manta Point, encounter apex predators including tiger sharks and silvertips at Shark Point, and explore some of the healthiest, most resilient hard coral fields in the Maldives. Addu is also home to the British Loyalty, the largest World War II shipwreck in the country, providing a premier wreck dive covered in soft corals and marine life.
From sheltered turquoise lagoons ideal for beginner training to exhilarating deep drift dives through outer channels, Aquaventure caters to every level of diving experience. With warm, crystal-clear visibility and rich biodiversity, each excursion is crafted to showcase the raw, untamed pelagic wonders of the southern Maldives.
